About our organisation
Adult Literacy Aotearoa (Kapiti) is a voluntary organisation providing a service to people of the Kapiti Coast, which stretches from Paekakariki in the south to Te Horo in the north.
We help adults of any age who have any form of literacy or numeracy problems. Whether you have just left school, or want to read to your grandchildren, we can help you.
Can we help you?
You can:
- Get help with reading, writing, spelling or doing maths.
- Learn to fill in forms.
- Learn the Road Code to pass your Learner Licence test.
- Learn study skills or get help with a course.
We offer:
- One-to-one tuition (just you and the tutor).
- Small group classes
- Friendly, qualified tutors.
We promise:
- Confidential service (we won’t talk to anyone about you unless you say we can).
- It won’t cost you anything.
- We will help you with whatever you want to learn.
